As part of the SMMT’s UK Motorparc Data 2022, they have confirmed that cars on Britain’s roads have reached 2019 pre-pandemic levels seeing a total of 35,148,045 cars in 2022.
The SMMT also said that the amount of cars on the roads with a ‘plug’ has also grown to 1.1 million, that is 1 in every 32 cars. Although comments on the article has said that the public chargepoint rollout ‘continues to lag’
