Peugeot 3008 Plugin-Hybrid

Our Peugeot 3008’s have proven very popular on our short-term car lease programs over the last few years, with many of our customers taking one to try and sticking with the model.

There are lots of reasons why, we’re big fans in the Cocoon office of the Peugeot 3008, so we thought we’d give you a few before introducing our latest PHEV offering:

Top 3 reasons why we love the Peugeot 3008

3. On Board Toys

The Peugeot’s have always come with lots of toys to play with, most of the models have Satellite Navigation, Apple Car Play and lots of safety feature like lane assist.

2. Comfortable to Drive

Despite the Peugeot 3008 having a very weird small steering wheel, the driving position and the comfort makes long drives seem like a dream. Even the rear seats have good leg room for 6ft people.

1. Lots of Space

Storage space in the Peugeot 3008 is really good. From the boot space with 395 (Hybrid Version) to 520 litres of space with the seats in their usual permissions to the leg room in the rear, its got plenty of room for all of the family.

Welcome Plugin-Hybrid Peugeot 3008’s

Yes, thats right! The Peugeot 3008’s Plugin Hybrids have finally hit our short-term car lease fleet, its been a long time coming and whilst before we could only put our hands on limited numbers, this time we’ve got quite a few vehicles coming through, with different trim levels.

Peugeot 3008 1.6 Hybrid 225 Allure 5dr E-EAT8

The cheapest of our current batch is the Allure, this still comes with plenty of kit and includes the 222bhp front wheel drive system. Specification includes partial leather seat trim, satellite navigation, DAB Digital Radio, 180 degree colour reversing camera, Cruise Control wit Speed Limiter and lots more.

Peugeot 3008 1.6 Hybrid 225 GT 5dr E-EAT8

The GT model has the same drive train as the Allure above, but the spec is slightly different. This derivative offers Full Leather Seat Trim, 3D Connected Navigation System, DAB Digital Radio, Focal Premium Hi-Fi Sound System, Front and Rear Parking Sensors and some beautiful 19″ Two Tone Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels.

Peugeot 3008 1.6 Hybrid4 300 GT 5dr E-EAT8

With the same on-board toys at the 225 GT, this model has the upgraded drive train. Offering All Wheel Drive and 296bhp. The car feels extremely nippy and has as much power as quite a few of the hot hatches in the marketplace at the moment.

Electric Driving Range

Both Peugeot have a 13.2kWh battery pack on-board. Peugeot claims to have an all electric range of between 34-40 miles and you can drive up to 84mph on just electric power alone.

We managed to get 28 miles out of the 300 GT before the engine kicked in, it was cold outside and temperatures can have a big difference on the batteries performance.
