Whilst some companies just can’t commit completely to a fully electric vehicles, we’re utilising Plugin Hybrids on their journery from Fossil Fuelled vehicles to plugin hybrid, to eventually fully electric.

Case Study 1
Energy Provider Sales Rep’s
Limited Company in the Northwest requires 5 new plugin-hybrids to replace BMW 1 Series that were originally taken on 3-4 year car leases.
The company didn’t want to commit as cars weren’t fully utilised during the period as staff left or didn’t work out. Flexible contracts were required so they could be off hired at anytime.
Cocoon Vehicles provided 5x Audi A3 E-Tron’s on a flexible basis with a generous mileage allowance. All of the cars were fitted with telematics so the company could keep an eye on their employees mileages.
Utilising these flexible contracts on a PHEV, the employees saved a nice amount of money on their benefit in kind and also in some circumstances fuel costs.
They could also charge their vehicles free of charge at the workplace with no extra tax disadvantages.
Case Study 2
MD Not Quite Ready to Make The Change
A Managing Director of a company took out a Fully Electric Audi E-Tron from Cocoon Vehicles on a Flexi-rental contract for a minimum of 90 days to see how this would fit in with his day-to-day business.
However, due to charging restrictions the MD decided quite early on that although he actually loved the Audi E-Tron it just seemed to much hard work and forward planning to fully commit to an all electric vehicle.
Cocoon Vehicles arranged for the customer to swap out of the Audi E-Tron and go into an Audi Q7 55 TFSI e PHEV, this gave him the option to charge at home to cover his 25 mile roundtrip commute, but gave him the flexibility to use the engine for meetings outside of the area.
