Jeremy Hunt raises Company Car Tax for EV drivers
With the autumn statement being announced on Thursday 17th November 2022, Jeremy Hunt has announced that there would be an increase in company car tax for EV’s drivers from 2025. It will increase 1% per year for three years. Read the story on Fleet News.
Electric Cars to pay road tax from 2025

Another announcement by Jeremy Hunt was reported by Auto Express. Electric cars will no longer be exempt from Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) from April 2025. This change applies to new vehicles and those already registered.
