The BMW i5 has a great specification list, but the most popular option customers are going for it after the Technology packs, is the Comfort Plus Pack. Today we take a look at what is included within this selection.
What is included with the Comfort Plus Pack
The following options are included with this pack:
Comfort Access
The comfort access option allows you to unlock or lock your BMW i5 with your Android or Apple iPhone device using the digital key or the actual physical key.
You can also turn on the option in the iDrive system to lock or unlocak automatically as you walk away, or to your vehicle.
Electric Bootlid
The boot lid can be opened lectronically via the key or internal button.
Four-zone Automatic Air Conditioning
aka. Climate Control in 4 zones of the car, so no more fighting over the temperature when you lease or subscribe to a BMW i4.
The system allows separate temperature zones for the driver, front passenger, left rear passenger and the left right passenger.
If required operation can be controlled from the iDrive system and the rear panel can also be synced and/or locked out.
Front Comfort Seats
The front seats can be electronically adjusted for the majority of the positions including backrest width, thigh support and the head restraint height. Memory function is also available for the front passenger seat.
Front and Rear Heated Seats
Three stage control for the driver, front passenger seat, rear left passenger seat and rear right passenger seat.
Heated Steering Wheel
Heated Steering Wheels are a blessing in the colder months, the BMW heats the wheel and can be controlled from the climate menu in the iDrive system.
Travel and Comfort System
BMW have really added a useful option with this system and it will be very beneficial to those travelling with children. On the back of the front seats there is a USB-C port and an interface to purchase accessories from BMW to hold items such as iPads.
Ventilated Front Seats
The seats contain tiny holes that alows ventilaition of the backrest and seat cushions using fans, this is a great function for the warmer months but can also be used with the heated seats, which we highly recommend.
