“A superb all-rounder” says Top Gear about the latest Porsche Cayenne SUV and we’ve got to agree, the Cayenne has always ticked various boxes from those wanting something sporty but practical, nicer on the company car tax but most of all luxurious.
When we were tasked by one of our corporate customers to choose the best configuration for their CEO, we could resist but to fire up the Porsche Configurator and do what we love doing, choosing the best options on her new Porsche Cayenne SUV.
Before we dig into the specification of the car, we need to remind you that although we specialise in short-term solutions including Porsche Car Subscriptions, this actual vehicle will be going out on a traditional 36-month car lease via our Find a Car Lease service.
The best Porsche Cayenne SUV Configuration
As this car is for a CEO and he will be liable for Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) company car tax, it is only natural that for this model we choose the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid, our client said that our CEO doesn’t want anything that stands out and needs to look conservative:
Colour Choice
As the client stated she wanted something classy and conservative, we suggested something like Quartzite Grey Metallic, Chromite Black Metallic or opt for their special colour; Arctic Grey. In the office we are huge fans of Crayon but we decided to stay away from the lighter colours.
The client chose Arctic Grey
Alloy Wheel Choice
Alloys can really make or break the look of a vehicle, so it is really important to choose the right design. Alloy wheels can also change the way the car rides especially those wheels with skinny tyres.
None of us like the standard 20-inch AeroDesign wheels that come as standard with the Cayenne and would always suggest adding a couple of inches.
We proposed:
- Exclusive Manufaktur 21-inch RS Spyder Design Wheels in Vesuvious Grey
- 22-inch 911 Turbo Design wheel with wheel arch extensions in exterior colour
.
The client chose: Exclusive Manufaktur 21-inch RS Spyder Design Wheels in Vesuvious Grey
Interiors Colours & Material
The standard partial leather interior in Black is a pretty good standard option and we don’t feel that for a lease car, the gain in monthly rental is worth opting for the full leather interior.
We also veered away from incorporating any Bordeaux Red or Night Green combos.
Client chose: Partial Leather in Black
Seats
This client travels quite a bit in the UK, therefore seating is an important factor. As she was the only person who would be driving the car, we suggested the standard comfort seats with 8-way electrical adjustment.
If you have more than one person driving the car, we’d always recommend upgrading the seats to include a memory package.
Client chose: Comfort Seats in Front (14-way, electric) with memory package
On top of the seats, the client added Massage Function fron and seat ventilation, this forced the specification to change the standard seats to the 14-way electric seats with memory package.
Exterior Options
As with all of the options, you can really rack up the pricing when it comes to specifying the best configuration on a Porsche Cayenne. As this is a car lease, we tried to consider the look of the car vs. monthly cost.
Here are the list of options that we added to the exterior:
- Extended exterior package painted in Black (high-gloss)
- Exterior mirrors painted in Black (high-gloss)
- Exterior package Black (high-gloss)
- Panoramic roof system
- Roof rails in Black aluminium
- ‘PORSCHE’ logo painted in Black (high gloss) and model designation painted in Black (high gloss)
- Sports tailpipes in Dark Bronze
- Heated windscreen
- Tinted LED taillights including light strip
- Privacy glass
Interior Options
Here is the list of internal options we chose for this Porsche Cayenne configuration:
- Multifunctional steering wheel with shift paddles including steering wheel heating
Technology Options

Whilst the Porsche Cayenne already comes with a great list of equipment, this is what we added under the technology header:
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Passenger Display
Summary
In the end the client was very happy with the final design of her 2023 Porsche Cayenne, now all we have to do is wait for it to come through. At the moment we are currently aiming for March 2024 on a 24-plate, in the meantime the customer is in a beautiful BMW X5 on a flexible car subscription.
