The BMW M3 Tourer is one of the most requested vehicles on our BMW Car Subscription service and quote requests on Find a Car Lease and you can really add some digits to the invoices with all of the available options available on these vehicles. One of the most requested packs is the M Pro Pack (And the M Carbon Pack), but what are they?
Article Updated: August 3, 2023
M Pro Pack
On the BMW M3 Tourer, the M Pro Pack consists of the following 2 options:
M Carbon Ceramic Brakes with Gold Calipers
If you like to give your BMW M3 some stick, then brake fade would usually be an issue. But by choosing the M Pro Pack you are getting the M Carbon Ceremic Brakes which can help with thermal stability and fading resistance. On top of that, BMW will colour the brake calipers in a beautiful matt gold colour.
M Driver’s Pack
Whilst a limited top speed of 155mph isn’t legally possible on the UK roads, if you are considering a trip on the German autobahn, this option increases the top-speed to an impressive 180mph (290km/h) (KPH to MPH Converter tool).
Just a quick note that this top speed increase will not be activated until the 1,200 mile running-inspection has been completed by your local BMW dealership.
If you opt to purchase this car, the pack also includes a voucher for a BMW Driver Training Experience.
What other packs should I consider?

There are a few more options that we would add to this if we had a blank cheque, but most of our suppliers specify their vehicle to sell on the approved used car market. Having had a few discussions in the Cocoon office, here is what we would choose if we had to finance and re-sell this car to make it appealing:

This is our idea of a good specification:

We’ve gone for a very understated look on the BMW M3 Tourer, a beautiful classy grey (with Matt finish of course) with orbit grey matt double-spoke alloy wheels to match. Internally we didn’t want to opt for the accent colours, but we did go for the comfortable full black merino leather upholstery.
Packwise we’ve gone for what we would consider the essentials. The visibility pack gives us those amazing Laserlights, whilst the Comfort Pack makes the car into a family wagon with Extended Storage Contents, Comfort Access and most important, the heated steering wheel. Technology Pack Plus isn’t really required but the Driving Assistant Professional option gives you lane assist capabilities, automatic speed limit assist and a few other handy features. Drive Recorder is the next best thing to an integrated dashcam and finally the parking assistant plus pack offers a 360 view of the vehicle, automated parking and remote view 3D.
