Whilst we have software systems within Cocoon Vehicles to look after things like the billing of rentals, when it comes to the final output to the customer, we double check all of the figures to ensure that are clients are charged correctly.
We are one of the few car subscription companies in the UK that allows a short notice period and will only bill you for the time in the vehicle, so we use a tool called “Days Between Dates” that we hand-coded here in the office.
It is quite simple and all you need to do is put the start date (which is the start of your contract) and the end date (the day the car was collected) and the code will tell you the number of days between the dates.
