Whilst Wireless Apple CarPlay is becoming the norm in many of the latest vehicles rolling off the production line, it’s not standard as yet and there are quite a few models on the road where you need to plug your Apple iPhone into your infotainment for Apple CarPlay to work…
But have you considered a Wireless Apple CarPlay Adapter?
We get sent gadgets all of the time in the Cocoon Vehicles office and being honest, a lot of the adapters we have tested have been awful to use or just hasn’t worked. Until now!
Say goodbye to wires with the Wireless Apple CarPlay adapter from Sixriver, this is one of the best adapters we have tried and works well with a number of brands including Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen (Check compatibility list before purchase).
The adapter simply acts as a wireless bridge between the car and your iPhone, whilst it doesn’t work as quickly as a built in Wirelss Apple CarPlay system, the latency is barely noticable.
Set-up is ultra easy and requires a connection from your iPhone to the Bluetooth/WiFi on the adapter. When you turn on the ignition, Apple CarPlay fires up wirelessly in around 15 seconds.
