Special Closing Dates for Cocoon Vehicles

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our special opening hours and off-hire procedures during these periods.

Bank Holiday Closing Dates

October Closing Dates

Our offices will close at 4pm on Thursday 14th October 2021 and will re-open at 9am on 19th October 2021.

Christmas Opening Hours 2021

Easter 2022

Our offices will be closed for an extended period over the Easter Holidays in 2022 and will therefore close at 4pm on Wednesday 13th April 2021 and will not re-open until 9am on Thursday 21st April 2022. Please see below for our off-hire procedures during this period.

Early May Bank Holiday 2022

Our offices will close on Thursday 28th April 2022 at 4pm and will not re-open until Tuesday 3rd May 2022 at 9am. Please see below for off-hire procedures.

Spring Bank Holiday / Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday 2022

Our offices will close on Wednesday 1st June 2022 at 4pm and will not re-open until Monday 6th June 2021 at 9am. Please see below for our off-hire procedures.

July 2022

SUBJECT TO CHANGE: Our offices will be closed on Friday 1st July 2022 and will not re-open until Thursday 7th July 2022. Please see below for our off-hire procedures.

August Bank Holiday Hours 2022

Our offices will be closed for an extended period over the August Bank Holiday and will therefore close at 4pm on Wednesday 24th August 2021 and will not re-open until 9am on Thursday 1st September 2021.

Off-Hire Procedures

All off-hire requests must be received no later than 10 working days before any bank holiday or break period with slots available on a first-come, first-serve basis for both collections and return to de-fleet requests. All vehicles will be at the point of return unless otherwise specified in the contract or based on the off-hire disclaimer below.

If any off-hire requests are received after these dates, the vehicles will remain on-hire until after the bank holiday and collected within our availability status.

Maintenance and Out of Hours

For those vehicles that include maintenance, should a service light come on your vehicle on the dates that we are closed, we will not be able to authorise any work for services.

Please ensure that your vehicle is booked in after the bank holiday so that the dealer or service centre can call us and authorise the work.

If your vehicle has already been booked in for a service over this period, please get the dealership or service centre to contact us prior to us closing to authorise the work.

Contract Black-Out Periods

Blackout periods are where it is not possible to have your vehicle collected, these form part of your contract. It effectively applies to our flexible car lease fleet, as we try not to offer fixed contracts if they fall within these blackout periods.

Blackout periods are dates that fall into the criteria as set out above, these are the dates where the office is closed and we cannot process returns. All return forms will be processed on the next working day after these dates working with the 5 working days notice.

We always try and give as much notice as possible on these dates and it is a really good idea to bookmark this page for future reference. We will try and include these dates on our email footer messages, on our blog and in our newsletters.
