What is the best Maserati Grecale specification?

Maserati Grecale

We love configuring cars for customers and we could not wait to load up Maserati’s website and build a Grecale for our customer.

The brief was simple, the car had to be suited for a female Managing Director who is a car fan. The car had to look classy and we couldn’t go over the top with the engine but the car needed to suit families for the weekend.

So what did we come up with?

Is this the best Spec Maserati Grecale?

The Grecale currently comes in 3 trim levels; Grecale GT, Grecale Modena and the Grecale Trofeo. As this is a Salary Sacrifice vehicle we’ve opted for the Grecale Modena which gives us 330hp from a 2.0 Mild Hybrid engine.

Colour Choice

We let Rebecca look at the colour combination, obviously some interiors work better with better exterior colours. The customer loved the Metallic Grigio Lava, we mated this with the Ghiaccio leather interior and the Piano Black Interior Trim.

Alloy Wheels

21" Pegaso Gloss Black Design Forged Alloy Wheels

We chose the following Alloy Wheels:

  • 21″ PEGASO GLOSS BLACK DESIGN FORGED ALLOY WHEELS

.
These were specified with black painted brake callipers.

Packages

Our customer has a teen-aged family, therefore space isn’t super important but comfort is. Weekends are when the car is used for family trips so here are the packs we added:

Climate Package Plus

The Climate Package Plus is standard on the Modena and includes:

  • Heated Outer Rear Seats
  • Heated Steering Wheel
  • Trident Stitched on Headrest
  • Ventilated Front Seats

.
The heated rear seats were a must with the children with the other items on this pack being a bonus.

ADAS Package – Level 1

Due to the motorway miles, we recommended this pack due to the adaptive cruise control. Here is a full list of items within this pack:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Blind Spot Monitor
  • Active Lane Management
  • Drowsy Driver Detection

.
There are two packs available with Level 2 including active driving assistant, whilst this is a good feature, the end user wanted to be in control of her own vehicle.

Options

We could go on for ages when it comes to adding options for the Grecale, but here is what we chose and why:

Rear Privacy Glass

Most cars come wth Privacy Glass these days, but it is great for many reasons but helps keep the car cooler on warmer sunny days. Plus the kids feel like celebs.

Panoramic Sunroof

The option of adding a Panoramic Sunroof is always at the top of our list, if allowed. This is an electric operated sunroof with a blind. The additional light in the vehicle is always welcome.

Roof Rails

We only added the roof rails for aesthetic reasons, but gives the family the ability to add roof rails, roof boxes or bike racks in the future if required.

Auto-Dimming Exterior Mirrors

This was a forced addition due to the ADAS Package, but we really do love auto-dimming rear view mirrors for driving at night and one less thing to distract the driver.

Summary

We have hopefully come up with the perfect configuration for this Maserati Grecale, the customer is super excited about receiving it in March 2024. As with all specifications, this can change via the manufacturer from date of order, so make sure you keep on top of any vehicle you have configured.
