The BMW 2 Series has made a long awaited return to our flexible car solutions and they have already been popular with our sales team. Today we’re going to take a look at the M Sport Pro Pack (And the Technology Pack) and what they include.
M Sport Pro Pack
On the BMW 2 Series, the M Sport Pro Pack consists of:
BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line with extended contents
Effectively a chrome-delete for your BMW 2 series, the chrome is replaced by high-gloss black including the front grill. It looks stunning.
Harman/Kardon Surround Sound Audio System
The Harmon/Kardon Surround Sound system is a welcome upgrade for everyone, even if you are not an audiophile. The 464w digital amplifier has nine channels and an easily adjustible equaliser. Combined with 16 speakers, you really will be blown away.
M Sport Brakes with Blue Calipers
This upgrade gives you the upgraded M-Sport braking system along with beautiful looking blue painted fixed calipers.
M Sport Seat Belts
These seat belts are black with the BMW’s coloured M seam in red and blue.
M Sport Spoiler
The M Sport Spoiler really defines the rear end of an already beautiful looking car.
Sun Protection Glass
Also known as privacy glass, this option gives the vehicle tinting on the rear side windows and the rear windscreen.
What is the Technology Pack?
One of the other options we see quite a lot on our pre-configured BMW 2 series is the Technology Pack, this is what is included within:
Enhanced Bluetooth with Wireless Charging
This option provides enhanced Bluetooth functionality as well as a Wireless Smartphone Charger which is to QI standard.
Where applicable, by using the charging mat can also enhance the signal as the pad will connect your phone to the vehicles external aerial.
Head-up Display
The head-up display projects vital information on to the front windscreen, this information can include the speed, navigational directions and where supported, traffic sign recognition icons. It is a great addition allowing you to drive, get the information needed without taking your eyes off the road.
Parking Assistant
Parking Assistant is a great addition for any driver, especially for those driving in the capital. The system can detect spaces and perform a parallel parking manoeuvre for you and of course, it can even leave the space for you as well.
Our favourite part of this system is the reversing assistant which will save the last 50 metres of an entry path. If required, the system can then reverse you back in exactly the same path. We use this quite a lot in Belper and the surrounding towns and villages.
WiFi Hotspot
Having a WiFi Hotspot within a vehicle is a saving grace nowadays with kids onboard trying to catchup on their social networks. This system uses the integrated sim card to provide 3G and 4G connectivity in the vehicle. Data plans can be easily purchased online.
